The TVJA school board is responsible for operating the school. The board works with the education department of the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to establish TVJA's policies. The board has several standing committees that meet and prepare proposals for consideration by the board. In general, the board's meetings are open to the school's constituency.
